Howdy!

Raised in the Texas Panhandle as a first-generation Mexican American, my artistry was shaped by cultural richness, scarce resources, and the harsh landscape - a foundation for becoming resourceful, resilient, and endlessly creative. From drawing my own comics to emulate the illustrations of arists like Bill Watterson to falling in love with graffiti and Chicano tattoo culture, creating was never optional for me.

A high school graphic design course opened my eyes to the possibility of an art career. I went on to study design and post-college spent eight years freelancing - building brands, providing creative direction for a lifestyle clothing brand, and serving as the in-house designer for a local non-profit.

In 2018, I moved to Austin, where I would eventually learn to tattoo and later open Studio Sin Nombre, my own shop, where I served clients for several years. The shop closed in December 2025 with plans to re-open in the future.

Today I'm still active in Austin: doing creative collabs with local brands, tattooing at pop-ups and guest spots, taking on freelance illustration/design projects, showing acrylic paintings in gallery installations, and upcycling vintage clothing with screen-printed art.

When I'm not creating, you'll find me with my cat Mabel, deep in a horror film, hanging out in the craft beer scene, or catching live music with my partner.
